Rubbish day

On the 9th of December we picked up rubbish in kauri class from our school kit. We counted the different kinds of rubbish and put them on this sheet .
Then, we wrote how many plastic bags and we got 8. We wrote what the most rubbish was, food wrappers. The second most was playground toys the third amount of rubbish was milk straws. The 4 most was Plastic bags

And the 5th most was bottles. And only two of the rubbish could be recycled.

  

Traping

On Tuesday we went up to check the rat traps.

First we checked the orchard, no rats or mustelids. Then we went up to the Beehive, still no rats or mustelids. Then we went up by the fence still no rats or mustelid there. We went over by the fence me and Ahlia checked the first trap, there were heaps of ants they nearly eat all of bait. Tazman and Tyler check the other trap bait there was still no rats. Then we went and then we went back down to the class.

 

Self reflection

In Kauri class we are learning to self assess our work and measure our progress. I think I did well because I highlighted my learning, then I found my current level for punctuation and then I added my next steps.
